Last night was one of those nights when I just could not get to sleep. These are the times when I usually come up with all kinds of ideas and then forget them by morning. So,  I finally gave up trying to sleep and came out to my laptop. This was one of my 3am brain children. The coupon shopper. It straps to a shopping cart with Velcro. It has a clear front pocket for a shopping list and or receipts, and inside it can hold tons of coupons, a cell phone, money, or anything else you may need while shopping. I need to tweak the design a little, the flap is a little bit to big, but other then that I like it!
UPDATE: I made a new bag for a friend of mine. I took off the flap and shortened the straps a little.

The kids have been with my parents for a few days now (God bless Grandma and Grandpa!) and so I have been sewing like a mad woman! I keep having to remind myself to do things like stop sewing and eat, or maybe brush my hair. It's sad really :-P I am loving it though. The house is quite and nobody needs chocolate milk! I love my children to pieces, but a break is VERY nice!
So, I have made a few trial things that didn't exactly turn out, but I'm going to try again. I made a little square shaped bag that I liked, but it was just way to small. Also a little ruffled bag that hangs from the wrist...but it was a tiny bit to small as well.  I made myself a travel roll up bag that I can put my toiletries in. I used one of those clear plastic table cloths...its not plastic, but I can't  think of what it is right now! I have also been making bags of every shape and size. There are so many things I want to make, but I can't decide what to do next. I think I'm going to try my hand at coffee cozies...I think thats what they are called.  Those little things you put on your coffee cup to keep your hands from getting hot. I want to make something that people actually need, so I need some good ideas.
